Researchers at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas will learn to run AI-assisted searches across the University's subscribed databases in a one-hour online session on September 28, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM via Zoom. The Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo–Information Resource Center (AEA-IRC) is holding the training on the EBSCO Discovery Service and its artificial intelligence tools.
The session will walk participants through the EBSCO Discovery Service and the use of facets and limiters to narrow search results. It will also cover the platform's AI tools, its Linked Data features, and the Publication Finder for locating journals and eBooks.
Participants will learn to navigate the EBSCO dashboard and reach help and support resources for questions that come up after the session.
Ryan Salas, training specialist for Southeast Asia at EBSCO Information Services, will lead the training. He designs and delivers online and onsite sessions for customers in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand, working with librarians, educators, researchers, and students on EBSCO's databases, tools, and services.
