De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), through its College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), held Kapihan 2.0 at the Francisco Barzaga Hall (POLCA), gathering alumni, criminal justice practitioners, and college officials to discuss plans aimed at improving the Criminal Justice Education program.
Centered on the theme, “Strengthening Criminal Justice Education through Multisectoral Dialogue and Collaboration,” the activity served as a review forum focused on enhancing academic programs and aligning them with current industry standards.
CCJE Dean Dr. Rodel Esmilla led the forum and emphasized the importance of regularly reviewing the curriculum to ensure that graduates remain competent, adaptive, and well-equipped for the demands of the profession. He highlighted the need for continuous alignment between classroom instruction and real-world practice.
Alumni participants contributed valuable insights based on their field experiences, offering practical recommendations to further enhance the program’s relevance and effectiveness. Through Kapihan 2.0, DLSU-D reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Criminal Justice Education through sustained dialogue, shared expertise, and institutional collaboration.
