Two exchange students from La Salle University Center of Madrid will take on internships with De La Salle University-Dasmariñas community programs this School Year 2026-2027, following a orientation session held on September 17 by the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, Innovation and Global Engagement (VPRIGE) through its Linkages Office.
Dr. Johnny Ching, Vice Provost for Research, Innovation and Global Engagement, and Br. Dan Sanding, FSC, Vice President for Lasallian Mission, received Paula Muñoz and Jimena Merino and walked them through their assignments at Bahay Pag-asa and the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC).
Administrators and staff from both offices were on hand to greet the students and introduce them to their programs and services.
The placements extend a standing partnership between the two La Salle institutions, one that puts visiting students in direct community work rather than classroom observation alone. For DLSU-D, the arrangement supports intercultural understanding, experiential learning, and service-oriented leadership on both campuses.
