De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has formalized a partnership with the Center for Conservation Innovation Philippines Inc. (CCIPH) through a memorandum of understanding committing both institutions to joint work on biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable community development.
DLSU-D President Br. Iñigo Riola FSC and CCIPH President and Chief Scientist Dr. Neil Aldrin Mallari signed the agreement. Dr. Johnny Ching, Vice Provost for Research, Innovation and Global Engagement, witnessed the ceremony together with University administrators and representatives from the offices that will carry out the partnership's programs.
The collaboration spans research, education, community engagement, and capacity-building work, with both parties anchoring their projects to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — particularly those covering environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and the development of sustainable communities.
For DLSU-D, the agreement extends a wider effort to pair quality education with environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship, and to build collaborations whose benefits reach communities and ecosystems beyond the campus.
Animo La Salle! 💚🤍
