Museo De La Salle (MDLS) formally opened PATUBIG: Cavite’s Heritage Irrigation System, a gallery exhibit that highlights the irrigation networks that once sustained Cavite’s farms, livelihoods, and communities.
The opening program featured welcome remarks from MDLS Director Mary Ann J. Salvador and a message from Br. Iñigo R. Riola FSC, President of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
The exhibit was officially inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Br. Mandy Dujunco FSC, Cavite Board Member Aidel Paul G. Belamide, Provincial Tourism Officer Elinia Imelda Rozelle Sangalang, and Engr. Marivic R. Dinglasan of the National Irrigation Administration–Cavite Batangas Irrigation Management Office (NIA-CBIMO).
Through PATUBIG, MDLS preserves and promotes awareness of Cavite’s agricultural heritage, ensuring that the stories and significance of these historic irrigation systems continue to inspire future generations.
