A Lasallian from the De La Salle University–Dasmariñas once again brought pride to the country after earning international recognition at the recently concluded Ms. Petite Global 2026 held in Kuala Lumpur.
Alyssa Sunga, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student from the College of Business Administration and Accountancy, proudly represented the Philippines and secured the 5th Runner-Up title in the prestigious global pageant competition.
Established in Malaysia in 2020, Miss Petite Global is an international beauty pageant that celebrates empowered petite women from around the world. The pageant promotes women empowerment, education, self-confidence, and philanthropy while challenging beauty stereotypes and proving that height does not define a woman’s capability and potential to create positive change in society.
Competing alongside candidates from different countries, Sunga showcased grace, confidence, and excellence on the international stage, embodying the Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion. Her achievement highlights the talent and global competitiveness of Filipino youth and serves as an inspiration to fellow Lasallians striving to excel in their respective fields.
The University community celebrates Sunga’s accomplishment and commends her for representing both the Philippines and the Lasallian community with pride and distinction.
