
De La Salle University-Dasmariñas will be one of the institutions to receive a financial grant from the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and The Inteligente Publishing, Inc.’s Rethinking Education, Championing and Accelerating School Transformation or RECAST program.
The team from DLSU-D headed by Paul Anthony Notorio, director Center for Innovative Learning Programs, and DLSU-D Senior High School Principal Marlon Pareja submitted the proposal entitled “UPLIFT DLSU-D Cavite: Upscaling ICT competency of Teachers of DLSU-D and Cavite Private Schools to UNESCO Standards.”
According to the proposal, the project seeks to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a professional development program for the senior high school teachers of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas and attain the level of Knowledge Creation. Likewise, the experiences gained by teachers shall be shared to Cavite private school teachers as part of the programs sustainability and community extension.
By its end, participants are expected to demonstrate the highest level in all aspects of the competencies of the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers.
For the release of the grant, a tripartite memorandum of agreement will be signed among the PEAC, the Inteligente Publishing and DLSU-D. A formal awarding ceremony will taka place on November 17, 2021.
