De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) successfully launched the Academic Readiness Module (ARM): Global Onboarding Program at De La Salle Academy – Yangon (LSA-Yangon) from November 9 to 22, 2025.
This two-week intensive course—requested directly by Br. Joseph Aung FSC, Director of LSA-Yangon, and part of the strong DLSU-D and LSA-Yangon partnership, is designed to fully prepare non-academy students for their transition to college life in the Philippines.
The DLSU-D delegation provides tailored career orientation and academic lectures, giving students a real taste of university-level rigor and outlining the standards that define a quality Lasallian education. They made sure students were acquainted with the core Lasallian values—Faith, Zeal for Service, and Communion in Mission. Crucially, the team met with the Philippine Embassy in Myanmar to secure governmental support, ensuring a smooth transition and reliable safety net for student welfare during their residency in the Philippines.
The ARM Program was spearheaded by: Evelyn R. Obo, Director of the Instruction and Curriculum Development Office; Jacquelyn M. Torres, Associate Director for Marketing and Recruitment; Rubie M. Causaren, a College of Science faculty member who handled the academic lectures; and Rafael Julius D. Estrada, the University Registrar, who covered admissions and enrollment logistics.
