De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) recently launched a new health and wellness initiative with the inclusion of calorie information on menu items across campus food service locations.
The initiative, made possible through the support of the University’s internal food concessionaire partners, aims to promote transparency and encourage healthier eating habits within the campus community.
“This is just the beginning — stay tuned for more wellness and nutrition initiatives coming your way soon," said Ancillary and Assets Management Office (AAMO) Director Albert John Puchero.
By displaying calorie information, DLSU-D seeks to help students, faculty, and staff make more informed and balanced food choices. Remaining food concessionaires are expected to complete the implementation of calorie labels within the month of October.
This project forms part of the University’s continued commitment to fostering nutrition awareness and overall well-being among the Lasallian community.
