Fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) students from DLSU-D recently led “Pasyal Museo: Promoting Heritage Awareness of Museo De La Salle Through the Lens of DLSU-D Tourism Advocates,” a service-learning tour aimed at fostering cultural, environmental, and religious tourism awareness among children.
The students guided 30 children through Museo De La Salle , the Botanical Garden, and the University Chapel as part of their Museum Exhibition and Management course, under the supervision of their instructor Deogracias Esplanada.
The activity was conducted in coordination with the Quality Education through Social Transformation (QUEST) Program, headed by Dr. Mayeth Deligan Gochuico, with support from QUEST Officers Ms. Iris Diorella Andaya and Mr. Lorenzo Joncent Centino Jr.
The event reflects the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s dedication to immersive learning experiences that nurture student engagement and social responsibility.
