DLSU-D, in partnership with the International Association of Lasallian Universities (IALU), officially launched the La Salle Summer Program/Global Student Leadership Program on July 7.
Running until July 19, 2025, the two-week program gathers international students to cultivate leadership skills grounded in Lasallian values and global sustainability.
Delegates from Lasallian institutions in Mexico, Spain, Brazil, France, the United States, Singapore, and the Philippines are participating in workshops, lectures, and collaborative sessions. They are exchanging ideas and showcasing developing projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The program features talks from guest speakers who highlight the importance of Lasallian leadership and global advocacy. A special focus on Integral Ecology encourages participants to reflect on environmental and social issues while deepening their Lasallian identity.
This initiative is made possible through the leadership of Diana Loera, Alice Gravelle, Bruno Diaz, Br. Dennis Magbanua, Br. Dan Sanding, and Dr. George Francisco.
By experiencing DLSU-D’s best practices, students gain practical insights into how Lasallian values can drive meaningful change in their home communities.
Animo La Salle!
