De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) celebrates the success of Japhet Ray Modesto Caña, who ranked second nationwide in the October 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Exam (ECTLE). Caña was the only DLSU-D graduate to make the Top 10.
Dr. Ma. Estrella Natalie B. Pineda, College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) Dean, commended Caña and all passers, noting their achievement reflects the college’s dedication to quality education.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our Top 2 in the recently concluded Electronics and Communications Technology Board Examination. May we continue to cultivate the habit of excellence in everything we do and bring pride to our College and University. As Aristotle once said, ‘We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit,” Pineda said.
DLSU-D’s overall passing rate of 85.71 percent in the ECTLE marked a 2.38-point improvement from October 2024, rising beyond the national passing rate of 65.22 percent by more than 20 points.
Meanwhile, the University also achieved a 42.86 percent passing rate in the Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination (ECELE), maintaining its commendable performance alongside a national average of 44.85 percent.
Animo La Salle!
