The Museo De La Salle (MDLS) launched its flagship program on curriculum integration which linked museum collections with classroom learning through the course Mga Babasahin Hinggil sa Kasaysayan (MBHK).
In this session, the MDLS became a vital resource for primary sources. Through the exhibit “Kultura, Kapangyarihan, Kamalayan: A Homage to the Revolutionary Spirit and Cultural Legacy of the Edwin and Aileen Bautista Collection,” students explored maps, flags, bladed weapons, and anting-anting—transforming artifacts into powerful lessons on cultural and historical identity.
Dr. Palmo Iya, along with Dr. Jeffrey Lubang and Dr. Emmanuel Calairo, from the Social Sciences department, guided students in meaningful discussions of the exhibit.
With this partnership, the Museo continues to bring history to life and deepen appreciation of what it means to be Filipino.
