DLSU-D’s young innovators continue to embody the Lasallian spirit of creativity and social responsibility as Team Peelicious, composed of Dale Bryan Cruz, Jamal Gabriel Custodio, Keith Mathew Delfin, Darell Eusebio, Jedrouel Mar Flores, and Justin Magbagay, earned remarkable recognition at the Cavite Entrepreneurship Student Conference held on November 27, 2025, at the Imus Sports Complex.
The team clinched 2nd Place in the Search for the Most Innovative and Sustainable Product and was also honored with the Outstanding AVP Award for their forward-thinking concept: plant-based meat made from banana peels. Their product was creatively transformed into a lineup of Filipino–Mexican fusion dishes, offering a flavorful, eco-conscious alternative served through a sustainable food cart.
Guided by the mentorship of Ms. Hazel Bautista and Mr. Michael del Rosario, Team Peelicious showcased how sustainability, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial mindset can come together to address food waste and promote healthier food options.
Their success highlights the ingenuity of BS Entrepreneurship students and reinforces the University’s commitment to fostering innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. Team Peelicious stands as an inspiring example of how young entrepreneurs can create meaningful impact through responsible and inventive business ideas.
Congratulations to Team Peelicious for this outstanding achievement!
