The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), welcomed Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh, Founder and CEO of the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science (SIFS) – India, for an engaging lecture on “Challenges in Cyber Forensic Investigation: Global Scenario.”
Attended by over 90 CCJE students, the online lecture explored the evolving landscape of cybercrime and the latest mobile forensic tools used to extract critical digital evidence. Dr. Singh also guided students through a hands-on activity in social media forensics, allowing them to identify digital traces using their own devices.
He further discussed real-world challenges such as low-resolution CCTV analysis and emphasized the importance of keeping pace with emerging technologies, including cloud forensics, IoT forensics, artificial intelligence, and facial asymmetry analysis.
The event strengthened DLSU-D’s collaboration with SIFS–India, highlighting the University’s commitment to advancing forensic education through global partnerships.
