Dr. Edwin B. Valeroso, a seasoned professor from the College of Professional and Graduate Studies of DLSU-D, was recognized as Asia’s Hero of Integrity and Leadership in Financial Education at the Asia’s Modern Hero Awards 2025.

The award honors his outstanding contributions to the financial sector through his leadership as President of the Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines and First Vice President of First Metro Asset Management.

With extensive experience as a board member and educator, Dr. Valeroso has dedicated his career to shaping future leaders in finance, embodying excellence and integrity in both the academe and industry.
