DLSU-D Paralegal and Political Science student Froiland Villan was among the panelists for the ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Assembly (AYLA) 2025.
Villan, who serves as Office of the Country Director Associate at ASEAN Youth Advocates Network Philippines, is widely recognized for his values-driven leadership and dedication to promoting good governance, civic engagement, and youth empowerment through both campus and regional initiatives.
As a panelist for AYLA 2025, Villan spoke during the session titled “Youth on the Move: Advancing Mobility, Exchange, and Regional Citizenship in ASEAN.” His discussion focused on how civic mobility and youth-led governance can strengthen regional identity and democratic participation. He also challenged fellow delegates to build inclusive structures that support long-term leadership, collaboration, and solidarity across Southeast Asia.
