The 267th Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (NROTCU) conducted its Local Annual General Tactical Inspection at the University Grandstand of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), marking a key evaluation of the unit’s operational readiness and training programs.
The inspection was led by LCDR Freddie Navarro PN and attended by university officials, including Provost Dr. George Francisco, along with representatives from the Naval Reserve Center. The ceremony featured a formal tactical parade and a comprehensive presentation highlighting the unit’s mission, available resources, and significant accomplishments.
During the proceedings, Dr. Francisco reaffirmed the University’s strong commitment to the National Service Training Program (NSTP). He emphasized the importance of ROTC as a core service component in tertiary education, noting its role in preparing students with discipline, leadership, and the competencies needed to serve as future defenders of the nation.
The inspection concluded with a dialogue among university officials and naval representatives, where strategic recommendations were discussed to further enhance the development and effectiveness of the naval training program.
