A De La Salle University–Dasmariñas Senior High School student brought pride to the University after winning a Bronze Medal at the Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (APOAI) 2026.

Daphne Eunice U. Acena (STM21) placed 42nd overall among 129 participants from across the Asia-Pacific and ranked third among all Filipino delegates in the international competition. The Philippines also finished sixth among 18 participating countries.

Acena's achievement underscores the growing excellence of DLSU-D Senior High School students in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, reinforcing the University's commitment to developing globally competitive and future-ready Lasallians.
