In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, the College of Liberal Arts and Communication (CLAC) Student Government has officially launched “EDSA 40: Pagsiklab sa Diwa ng Paninindigan at Pakikiisa."
The initiative serves as both a creative competition and a meaningful act of remembrance, aiming to strengthen the values of democracy, accountability, and collective action among students. Through artistic and critical expression, the activity encourages participants to reflect on the enduring spirit of EDSA and its relevance in today’s society.
Student are invited to submit original works under the following categories:
- Poem Writing
- Visual Art Creation
- Position Paper Writing
The competition provides a platform for students to articulate their convictions, showcase their talents, and contribute to ongoing conversations about civic responsibility and national identity.
Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding entries in each category:
- 1st Place – ₱1,500
- 2nd Place – ₱1,000
- 3rd Place – ₱500
Winning entries will also be featured on the organization’s official Facebook page, recognizing the creators’ meaningful contributions and strong expressions of principle.
The deadline for submission of entries is on February 26, 2026.
