The De La Salle University-Dasmariñas community gathered for its monthly Flag Ceremony, where University President Br. Iñigo R. Riola, FSC shared a timely reflection on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.
In his message, Br. Iñigo emphasized the importance of ensuring that AI serves humanity and remains aligned with Lasallian values of faith, service, and respect for human dignity. He encouraged the community to embrace technological innovation while upholding ethical decision-making and meaningful human connections.
Before concluding, Br. Iñigo invited students, faculty, and staff to visit “PATUBIG: Cavite’s Heritage Irrigation System,” the newest exhibit at Museo De La Salle. The exhibit highlights colonial-era irrigation systems that supported local communities and stands as a testament to infrastructure designed for the common good.
The ceremony served as a reminder of the University's commitment to fostering responsible innovation while preserving the value of the human person.
