De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) researchers from the College of Professional and Graduate Studies received the Best Paper Award at the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Computing (ICSC 2026) for their research on aquatic ecosystems in Cavite and Batangas.
Organized by the Society of Education and Research Development, India, in partnership with Rizal Technological University, ICSC 2026 brought together researchers and innovators across Asia to present studies on sustainability and computing.
The award-winning paper, “Multivariate Analysis of Physicochemical Limiting Factors of Selected Aquatic Ecosystems in Cavite and Batangas, Philippines,” highlights the team's interdisciplinary approach to advancing environmental science and sustainable resource management.
The study was authored by Cheryl Lyn C. Ayuste, Chriz John Regie A. Sansait, Diana Jazmin Arpon, Airen L. Carpio, Racquel M. Monterey, Gabriel Apalisok, Anthony P. Perez, Jelli S. Arandia, Maricel P. Malabanan, and Airill L. Mercurio.
As the presenting author, Cheryl Lyn C. Ayuste expressed gratitude for the recognition.
“This recognition reflects the collective efforts of our research team and highlights the quality and impact of collaborative research conducted by our institution and partner organizations. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to research that advances environmental science and sustainable computing,” Ayuste shared.
