Life Below Water

To support the conservation and sustainable use of the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development, DLSU-D constantly monitors the physical and chemical parameters of the lake water.

This includes the regular cleaning and removal of leaves and other trash from the water as part of maintenance and management and the protection of living organisms below the water.

Marine Litter Study (2024)

DLSU-D, in collaboration with the Korean International Cooperation Agency, EcoWaste Coalition, and DENR, found 12 million marine litter along certain sections of Manila Bay.

The Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) and DLSU-D High School hosted "Maka-kalikasang Talakayan 2," discussing the environmental and social impacts of seabed quarrying in Cavite.
