De La Salle University-Dasmariñas scholars Ghaylle Margarrette Dumalag (BS Economics) and Hanz Wendell Reginio (BS Accountancy) represented the University and the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) at the 4th International Student Leaders Meeting (ISLM) 2026, held from July 14 to 17 at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. Organized by UI GreenMetric, the international gathering brought together student leaders from universities around the world to discuss youth-led initiatives supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Drawing on their academic backgrounds in economics and accountancy, Dumalag and Reginio participated in discussions on sustainable development, social responsibility, and responsible resource governance. The meeting encouraged intercultural exchange, leadership development, and collaboration among participants while providing opportunities to examine practical approaches to addressing sustainability challenges.
The participation of the two scholars reflects De La Salle University-Dasmariñas' continued support for international learning opportunities that develop globally engaged student leaders. Their involvement in ISLM 2026 contributed to the University's efforts to strengthen international collaboration and promote education that advances sustainable development and global citizenship.
