The De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) Center for Student Admissions (CSA) was recognized as one of the Outstanding OJT Partners for the School Year 2025–2026. The award was presented during the Recognition Ceremony and Collaborative Event: Curriculum Optimization, Review, & Enhancement (CORE), held today, June 3, 2026, at the Vivere Hotel in Alabang.
Accepting the award on behalf of the center were Jacquelyn Torres, CSA Associate Director for Marketing and Recruitment, and Mary Jane Baterna, Marketing Associate.
The recognition highlights CSA’s commitment to providing high-caliber, practical training grounds for future business professionals. During the second semester of the current academic year, the office took on four student interns from the DLSU-D College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) Marketing Management Program, interns include : Shaira Memije, Pauline Soriano, Irish Gail Factor and Marilena Venice Danque
Over the course of a rigorous 600-hour internship program, these student interns were fully integrated into the frontline operations of the Marketing and Recruitment Unit. Moving beyond basic administrative tasks, the interns gained comprehensive, hands-on experience in strategic student recruitment, localized academic marketing campaigns, and the intricate operations of university admissions and testing.
The collaborative CORE event serves as a vital touchpoint where industry partners and academic departments align to review and optimize the current curriculum, ensuring that DLSU-D students remain highly competitive and industry-ready.
As the office celebrates this milestone, the Center for Student Admissions continues its core mission of welcoming the next generation of Lasallians. Admissions for incoming freshmen and transferees for the upcoming semester remain ongoing.
Furthermore, the CSA Marketing and Recruitment Unit is currently preparing a lineup of targeted recruitment initiatives scheduled to roll out this June to July, just ahead of the official college enrollment period.
