The La Salle Filipiniana Dance Company is set to take the stage with its upcoming production, “PAGSUYO: Sayaw at Musika ng Pag-ibig,” a cultural performance that celebrates love, identity, and Filipino heritage through dance and music.
Inspired by the symbolism of the Sampaguita, the country’s national flower representing purity and enduring love, the production explores the relationships that shape individuals, from family and community to culture and shared traditions. Through expressive movement and musical storytelling, the performance aims to bring these connections to life in a meaningful and visually compelling way.
The show will be held on April 25, 2026, at Ugnayang La Salle, with two scheduled performances: 10:00 AM - 12:00 NN and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Tickets are priced at ₱150 for students, faculty, alumni, and university personnel, and ₱170 for external audiences.
More than a cultural showcase, “PAGSUYO” is also a benefit production, with proceeds supporting several causes, including Gawad Kalinga (Dasmariñas), the DLSU-D Student Scholarship Office Fund, the Performing Arts Group (PAG), and the La Salle Filipiniana Dance Company itself.
More than a formal agreement, the partnership represents a shared commitment to shaping leaders grounded in historical awareness and civic responsibility. Through this collaboration, Rizal’s legacy is actively lived, reinterpreted, and carried forward by a new generation.
