De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) formally opened preparations for School Year 2026–2027 through the Institutional Planning Workshop held at the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez Reception Room. The workshop brought together university administrators to reflect on the institution's accomplishments during SY 2025–2026, align strategic priorities, and identify initiatives that will further strengthen the experiences of students and employees while advancing the University's Lasallian mission.
“The past school year has been a wonderful year for DLSU-D. We have celebrated many milestones. We have strengthened our academic programs, received recognition from accrediting and ranking bodies, and witnessed the many accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff. Those achievements belong to all of us,” he said.
“More importantly, I know that behind every recognition are many acts of service that no one sees. These things rarely make the headlines, yet they are what sustain this University every single day,” he added.
In his address, Br. Inigo Riola, FSC, recognized the collective efforts of the Lasallian community in achieving the University's milestones and encouraged administrators to incorporate strategies that improve the overall experience of students and employees while fostering relationships rooted in accompaniment and belonging. He also reaffirmed the University's institutional commitments—Fidelity to Mission, Synodality in Spirit, and Co-Responsibility in Action—as guiding principles for decision-making and shared responsibility.
Prior to the workshop, the Academics Division under the Office of the Provost conducted a learning session on the De La Salle mission led by Br. Vic Franco, FSC. The session highlighted the University's core Lasallian values, encouraging leaders to cultivate fraternity through kindness, mutual support, and a positive campus presence while renewing their commitment to the mission of teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.
The Institutional Planning Workshop marked the beginning of the University's preparations for the new academic year while reinforcing its commitment to collaborative leadership and continuous institutional improvement. Guided by its Lasallian mission and shared values, DLSU-D continues to strengthen initiatives that support academic excellence, community building, and meaningful service.
