De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has once again strengthened its reputation for academic excellence after receiving reaccreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) for several of its academic programs.
Following a comprehensive evaluation, PAASCU granted five-year reaccreditation (until 2031) to programs under the Colleges of Education, Liberal Arts and Communication, Science, and Business Administration and Accountancy. The reaccreditation covers programs under Level III and Level IV, recognizing their strong academic standards, quality instruction, and commitment to continuous improvement.
In the same evaluation, PAASCU also awarded five-year reaccreditation (until 2031) to Level II programs of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT). These include:
- Civil Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Architecture
Meanwhile, the Electrical Engineering program has successfully qualified for a formal survey, marking another important step toward accreditation.
PAASCU accreditation is a rigorous process that evaluates academic institutions based on curriculum quality, faculty qualifications, research initiatives, student services, and institutional support systems. Receiving reaccreditation affirms that DLSU-D continues to meet national standards for quality education.
