De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) warmly welcomed a delegation from Providence University, Taiwan, led by Edward Chang of the College of Foreign Language and Literature, in a visit that strengthened international academic ties and cultural exchange.
Organised by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER) and facilitated by the Linkages Office, the visit brought together faculty members from DLSU-D’s Basic Education Department and their counterparts from Providence University. The delegation also included graduate students from the Department of English Language, Literature and Linguistics and the Department of Spanish Language and Literature.
The programme featured institutional presentations that showcased the academic strengths, programmes, and cultural identities of both universities. These discussions provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, reinforcing shared goals in language education, research, and international engagement.
The visit reflects DLSU-D’s continued commitment to fostering global partnerships and creating opportunities for academic collaboration, faculty development, and cross-cultural learning.
