De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) hosted 26 law students from Victoria University, Australia, for a Study Abroad Program on the Philippine legal system and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from January 12–24, 2026.
Led by Atty. Ryan Dave Berioso and Pam Christou of VU, the program included lectures on constitutional governance, civil law, litigation, ADR, international commercial arbitration, and commercial law. Students also visited Bahay Ugnayan (Malacañang Heritage Museum), the Teus Mansion, the Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeals to gain firsthand insight into Philippine history, culture, and judicial processes.
Br. Inigo Riola FSC, EdD, DLSU-D President, welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the program’s role in fostering global connections.
“This program reflects something very important to us as a Lasallian university.
We believe deeply in building relationships and global connections, not only for academic exchange but also for forming responsible global citizens,” he added.
Atty. Berioso described the program as a “bridge” between legal jurisdictions, highlighting DLSU-D’s commitment to internationalization and collaborative learning.
