De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), through its Development Cooperative and Human Resource Management Office, held a Gender and Development (GAD) Awareness Seminar and Zumba session in celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month.
The seminar, titled “Understanding Reproductive Health as Essential Wellness for Women and Across Genders,” was delivered by Dr. Jesus Randy Rivera, a radiation oncologist and founder of CerviQ. The talk focused on promoting inclusive health literacy and empowering participants through education on reproductive health.
Following the seminar, a Zumba session led by Gerald Panican of the Basic Education Department encouraged participants to engage in physical wellness activities.
The event was attended by female employees of the University and aligns with this year’s National Women’s Month theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.”
