De La Salle University–Dasmariñas brought high-school students, faculty, and staff together for Offline Day, an initiative that encouraged the community to step away from gadgets, Wi-Fi, and the online world—even inside the classroom.
During the activity, teachers returned to traditional instructional materials and face-to-face interaction, fostering more meaningful classroom engagement. The university break was filled with energy and laughter as students participated in Palarong Pinoy, organized by the Student Council. Classic Filipino games promoted teamwork, friendly competition, and genuine interaction among participants.
Offline Day provided the DLSU-D community an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen collaboration, and build new friendships beyond digital screens. The initiative highlighted the value of being present and reminded everyone of the simple joys found in shared moments, active participation, and real human connection.
