It seems that having green minds is a good thing after all.
Team Green Minds, DLSU-D Senior High School's representatives to the STEM Interscholastic Quiz Show (STEMIQS), recently bagged a fifth place finish among the 42 schools who joined the competition.
The team, made up of Louise Ann Calairo (STM23), Lloyd Adrian Dumanayos (STM24), John Carlo Santiago (STM25), and Maria Isabel Tendido (STM25), were coached by Ninokay Beceril and Sandino Castro for the competition held at the Batangas State University last November 23.
STEMIQS, which is sponsored by the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – Junior Chapter Batangas, seeks to gather the best among the STEM students from the CALABARZON region to engage them in an intense competition on Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and General Chemistry.
