
Fifteen students from Yeonju Jeil High School (YJHS), South Korea will visit De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Senior High School to interact with their counterparts for a two-day cultural exchange program.
The two-day visit from October 18-19 will include a ceremonial signing of the agreement between YJHS and DLSU-D to solidify the partnership of the two institutions. The itinerary also includes campus activities, foster family hosting and a Cavite cultural tour. Among the faculty members who will accompany the student delegation are YJHS Vice Principal Seo Jongwon, English teacher Jeong Nam-geun and Guidance teacher Kwon Daehyun.
Representatives from the DLSU-D who will welcome the delegation are DLSU-D High School Director Dr. Mario Torres and DLSU-D SHS Asst. Director Marlon Pareja, Linkages and Scholarship Office Director Wilson Jacinto, LSO Coordinator Dr. Vangie Montillano and SHS Coordinator Brittanny Aiki Marie Fusilero. Selected parents and students of SHS will also be among the welcoming party.
Yeongju Jeil High School (YJHS) is a boy's high school that is considered as one of the best preparatory high schools to enter universities or colleges in Korea because of its 100 special curricula in the Gyeongsangbuk-do district.
