De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) successfully completed its two-week intensive Academic Readiness Module (ARM): Global Onboarding Program at De La Salle Academy-Yangon (DLSA-Yangon), running from November 9 to 22, 2025. This comprehensive initiative was designed specifically to provide incoming students with full academic and cultural preparation, ensuring a seamless transition to collegiate life in the Philippines specifically in DLSU-D.
The program went beyond a simple orientation, offering participants a substantial preview of university life by focusing on academic preparation and values integration. Students engaged in tailored lectures and career orientation sessions, granting them a real-world taste Lasallian education.
Furthermore, a Q&A online session with the University's College Deans was also conducted; and concluded with Center for Student Admissions' online orientation and mock exam for the prospective student applicants.
The program was spearheaded by DLSU-D delegates composed of University-level who provided academic instructions, Dr. Evelyn R. Obo, Director of the Instruction and Curriculum Development Office, and Dr. Rubie M. Causaren, a faculty member from the College of Science. Essential guidance on career orientation, admissions, and enrollment logistics was handled by Jacquelyn M. Torres, Associate Director for Marketing and Recruitment, and Rafael Julius D. Estrada, the University Registrar.
This successful run in Myanmar ultimately reinforces DLSU-D's commitment to global partnerships and thorough student preparedness.
