Atty. Danny E. Bunyi, Corporation and Basic Securities Law Professor at the DLSU-D College of Law and Senior Partner at Divina Law, has once again been named to the Asia Business Law Journal’s A-List of the Top 100 Lawyers in the Philippines for 2025.
This marks his fifth consecutive recognition, having also been included in the prestigious list from 2021 to 2024.
A seasoned corporate lawyer, Atty. Bunyi has extensive expertise in banking and finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, anti-money laundering compliance, real estate, tax and estate planning, among others. He also engages in emerging fields such as financial technology, e-commerce, and policy reform.
Prior to joining DivinaLaw, he held key leadership roles in major institutions including the Development Bank of the Philippines, Robinsons Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank. He has also served as a consultant to the Philippine Competition Commission.
In academia, he teaches at DLSU-D College of Law, the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law, Ateneo de Manila University, and the Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines. He is also the author of the Compendious Bar Reviewer on Civil Law.
With his distinguished law practice and decades of experience as a law professor, Atty. Bunyi brings a unique and essential perspective to the College of Law, bridging legal theory and real-world experience.
