The Logo
The shield's primary color, green, is not just any shade but the Lasallian color in the Philippines. As the color of life, it symbolizes the College's dedication to educating in and for justice, a value at the core of the Lasallian education mission.
At the upper center of the shield, we find the Signum Fidei or the 'Sign of Faith.' This symbol represents justice that arises from faith, a conviction that inspires the promotion of justice in the light of the gospel.
A scaler evenly arches horizontally across the shield's center, symbolizing equity, balance, and justice. In the middle is a human torso reflecting compassion and sympathy with arms wide open that call for diversity and inclusion.
The lower part of the shield is completed by two green leaf shapes, symbolizing the Rabat (pronounced ruh-bah), the two-piece white collar that is part of the Lasallian Brothers' habit or robe. The DLSU-D College of Law offers a quality Lasallian education guided by the values of St. John Baptist de La Salle. It also resembles an open page of a book representing Catholic Christian Education, which is the foundation of the College of Law's mission as the premier School of Law in Cavite.
