Six PhD in Counseling students from theCollege of Professional and Graduate Studies (CPGS) of DLSU-D recently joined an academic and cultural exchange program at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Thailand.
The participating students were Ruiza Mari Derain, Angelito Aniag, Melisa Gonzales, Mark Solo III, Maria Ligaya Lopez, and Rubia Abdulwahab, accompanied by faculty member Dr. Manuel Camarse.
Over the two-week program, they engaged in orientations, courtesy meetings, dialogues with college counselors, and a session with the Principal of RMUTT Early Childhood Education. They also visited culinary classrooms and laboratories, the Department of Student Development for exchanges with psychologists and counselors and joined a cultural immersion at a local temple.
This group marks the first of the two batches of participants in the program, which seeks to broaden students’ perspectives through academic collaboration and cross-cultural learning.
