De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has partnered with Grab Philippines to enhance the daily commuting experience of its students, offering safer, more convenient, and more affordable transport options across Cavite.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signed by University President Br. Iñigo Riola, FSC, makes DLSU-D the first university in the CALABARZON region to collaborate with Grab for transport mobility services. The initiative is led by the Office of General Services (GSO) in response to the growing need for reliable transportation among the Lasallian community.
Under the partnership, all DLSU-D students are entitled to a 20% discount on Grab rides upon registering their valid school IDs on the Grab app. The discount aims to support students’ daily mobility while promoting safety and accessibility.
University administrators emphasized that the collaboration goes beyond transportation, highlighting its role in strengthening campus safety, accessibility, and overall student welfare.
Eiji Macasaet, Head of Country Partnerships and Business Development of Grab Philippines, welcomed the partnership and reaffirmed Grab’s commitment to providing the DLSU-D community with safe, reliable, and cost-effective ride services.
The DLSU-D–Grab partnership reflects the University’s continued efforts to build strategic collaborations that support student needs and improve campus life.
