De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) is co-organizing the 2025 International Conference on Science, Technology, & Artificial Intelligence Applications (ICSTAA), highlighting its strong commitment to research and knowledge sharing.
As co-organizer, the University plays a key role in the evaluation of research papers and the facilitation of parallel sessions, underscoring its dedication to advancing innovative and impactful scholarship.
Representing DLSU-D is a delegation led by Dr. Johnny A. Ching, Deputy Provost for Research, and Dr. Jose Aims R. Rocina, Director of the University Research Office (URO). Dr. Ching delivered a plenary talk titled “Synthetic Minds for Natural Worlds: Gen AI in the Sciences,” which explored the transformative role of artificial intelligence in scientific discovery. DLSU-D faculty members and students are also presenting interdisciplinary research under three major subthemes: (1) Education, Culture, Social Sciences, Business Management, Finance, and Health; (2) Engineering, Industrial Technology, and ICT; and (3) Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment, and Natural Sciences.
These sessions foster knowledge sharing, stimulate innovation, and encourage collaboration across diverse disciplines. The ICSTAA is being held at Marinduque State University (MarSU) from September 17 to 18, 2025, gathering scholars, researchers, and industry experts from various fields to exchange ideas and explore solutions to pressing local and global challenges.
Through its active participation and leadership role, DLSU-D reaffirms its Lasallian mission to cultivate a vibrant research culture, strengthen collaboration, drive innovation, and generate research that transforms communities and contributes to sustainable development.
