De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) secured the 2nd runner-up spot at the National ECE Math Olympiad 2025, held recently at the Marikina Convention Center.
Representing DLSU-D were Marco Elijah Arcallana and Yohan Astillero from ECE21, alongside Laurence Reyes from ECE11. The trio delivered a strong performance throughout the competition, showcasing their analytical skills and teamwork on the national stage.
The Olympiad concluded with Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas (TUP-Visayas) emerging as champion, followed by Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila Campus (PUPMC) as 1st runner-up.
The National ECE Math Olympiad is an annual event designed to challenge and inspire future engineers through complex mathematical problems rooted in Electronics Engineering. It promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and collaboration among students nationwide.
