Consul Fabricio Sardoni of the Argentine Embassy in Manila recently delivered a lecture titled “Closing the Gap” at the ADG Reception Hall as part of DLSU-D’s Beyond Borders: Embassy Lecture Series.
Students from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and College of Liberal Arts and Communication (CLAC) learned about Argentina’s history, culture, and economic landscape, with Consul Sardoni highlighting shared experiences between Argentina and the Philippines to promote people-to-people connections and potential areas for cooperation.
The session ended with an engaging open forum on tourism and diplomacy, giving students direct insight from an experienced diplomat.
Beyond Borders continues to strengthen global awareness and cross-cultural understanding within the Lasallian community.
