De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has officially enforced a No Smoking Policy effective October 30, 2025, ensuring a fully smoke-free and tobacco-free campus for all students, employees, and visitors.
The policy prohibits smoking and the use of vapes, e-cigarettes, and other nicotine devices in all areas of the university—including buildings, open spaces, walkways, parking lots, and university vehicles. No designated smoking areas will be allowed.
Aligned with national laws such as the Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003, Clean Air Act, and Executive Order No. 26, the initiative aims to promote community health and environmental sustainability. DLSU-D will also conduct awareness campaigns and offer smoking cessation programs through the University Health Services.
Violations will be subject to sanctions under the Student Manual and Employee Handbook, while visitors and contractors found smoking may be denied entry.
