Students of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) are invited to deepen their understanding of artificial intelligence and academic integrity through a featured learning session on detecting AI-generated content using Turnitin, set during the university’s upcoming Research Week.
The session is part of the 2nd Conference on Technology and Research for National Development and Sustainability (CONTRENDS), which carries the theme, “The Role of Social Media and Artificial Intelligence in Sustainable Philippine Development.” The conference aims to equip students with relevant knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving digital and research landscape.
Scheduled from April 20 to 24, 2026, the event will be held at the Graduate Studies and Faculty Section (GSFS) and is open to all undergraduate students. Participants will gain valuable insights into how AI-generated content is identified, reinforcing the importance of ethical writing and responsible use of technology in academic work.
The session also forms part of the accredited activities for Research Week, allowing attendees to earn passport stamps as they participate in various learning engagements. Interested students may secure their slots by registering through the official link.
With the growing presence of AI in education and content creation, DLSU-D continues to provide timely and relevant initiatives that empower students to uphold academic integrity while embracing innovation.
