The De La Salle Dasmariñas Alumni Association successfully held “Salamat, Animo!”, a homecoming celebration that brought together alumni from various batches in a festive gathering highlighted by a mini concert featuring the iconic Filipino rock band The Dawn.
The event served as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with fellow Lasallians while learning about key initiatives leading up to the University’s Ruby Jubilee celebration in 2027. Attendees also witnessed the election of the association’s officers and Board of Trustees, marking another milestone in strengthening alumni engagement and leadership.
In his message, University President Br. Iñigo Riola, FSC, thanked the alumni for continuing to embody Lasallian values in their respective professions and communities. He encouraged them to remain connected with the University and to continue making a positive impact through lives rooted in faith, service, and communion.
“Looking around this room, I see alumni who have taken different paths in life, yet all of us share something in common. We all became part of the Lasallian family here at DLSU-Dasmariñas. Thank you for continuing to make a difference wherever you are. Whether you are serving in business, education, government, healthcare, or your own communities,” he said. “We hope that you continue to bring our Lasallian Core Values with you. I hope you will continue to stay connected with the university.”
Prior to the homecoming celebration, the University community gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass in honor of Br. Carlo Rementilla, FSC, a DLSU-D alumnus from the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (Marketing Management, Batch 2016), who recently made his Perpetual Profession of Vows. The Mass also commemorated DLSU-D’s 39th founding anniversary as a Lasallian institution.
Through “Salamat, Animo!,” DLSU-D reaffirmed the enduring bond among Lasallians, celebrating a shared legacy while looking forward to the University’s continuing journey toward its Ruby Jubilee.
