De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) and the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (OPCDO), formalized their partnership through a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the Boardroom of the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez Building.
The collaboration aims to expand employment opportunities for deserving scholars under the DLSU-D Night College program, particularly those from the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA). The agreement also outlines joint initiatives in community-based social engagement, on-the-job training, and community immersion programs, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to inclusive development.
The OPCDO delegation was led by Liza Gabatan, Entrepreneurial Division Head, accompanied by Katrina Paula Caballe and Sherwin Mojica. Representing the University were Sonia Gementiza, Chief Administrative Officer; Nor Cachuela from the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER); and Anna Liza Aterrado, Associate Dean of CBAA.
Also present during the signing ceremony were representatives from key university offices, including the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) and the Linkages and Scholarship Office, highlighting a unified institutional effort to strengthen external partnerships and student support programs.
The partnership reflects DLSU-D’s continuing mission to provide accessible education and meaningful opportunities for its students through strategic collaborations with government agencies.
