LCDC participated in the Uniservitate Service-Learning Faculty Training held on August 20–21, 2026, at Balay Indang, Cavite. Organized by the Uniservitate Asia & Oceania Regional Hub through the De La Salle University Center for Social Concern and Action (DLSU COSCA), the training focused on faculty strategies and methods for facilitating and deepening student reflection in service-learning.
The capacity-building initiative emphasized critical reflection as a link between experience, learning, faith, and action. Grounded in the Lasallian Reflection Framework—Masid-Danas, Suri-Nilay, and Taya-Kilos—the training prepared LCDC representatives to guide students toward a deeper understanding of social realities and encourage thoughtful responses to community needs.
Through strengthened service-learning practices, LCDC seeks to integrate Lasallian Values, Catholic Social Teaching, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into student engagement. The training supports the center's efforts to help learners develop greater compassion, social responsibility, and commitment as they participate in community-based experiences in the coming academic year.
