De La Salle University-Dasmariñas has secured the 200th spot in the Global Top 500 Innovative Universities list of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), marking a significant rise from its initial entry last year, when it was ranked in only three categories.
The university demonstrated strong performance across multiple areas, reflecting its growing emphasis on innovation, research, and social impact. Among its highest rankings were Funding for Sustainability (20th), Infrastructure and Technology (23rd), and Interdisciplinary, Convergent, and Integrated Research (39th).
It also placed competitively in Social Impact through Knowledge Transfer (32nd), Entrepreneurial Culture and Ecosystem (47th), and Future-Oriented Responses to Global Uncertainty and Geopolitical Risk (68th). Other notable rankings include Student Mobility and Openness (71st), University Brand and Reputation (74th), Ethics and Integrity (83rd), University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects (85th), and Student Support and Engagement (98th).
The latest WURI results highlight the university’s expanding role in advancing innovative education, strengthening research capabilities, and addressing societal challenges through inclusive and sustainable initiatives.
