The Junior Patriots showcased their athletic dominance after capturing championship titles across four sports in the recently concluded CDAPS Athletic League 18U.
The Badminton Team defended their crown with a back-to-back championship, bringing home 5 Gold and 3 Silver medals. Among the winners are:
- Singles A Boys (Gold): Zian Pacheco
- Singles B Boys (Gold): Dylan Bautista
- Doubles Boys (Gold): Curt Lariosa and Zach Avilla
- Singles A Girls (Gold): Rean Paula Tubongbanua
- Doubles Girls (Silver): Angelica Torralba and Ashleigh Simbahan
- Singles B Girls (Silver): Veanne Gutierrez
Meanwhile, the Table Tennis Team added to the university’s medal haul with strong finishes:
- Singles A Boys (Gold): Hans Marco A. Vargas
- Singles B Boys (Gold): Stephen Art Clarence M. Juanitas
- Doubles A Boys (Silver): Joaquin Sebastian A. Dela Cruz and Karlo Roijohn C. Buot
- Singles A Girls (Gold): Bielle Cyrille C. Marchadesch
- Doubles A Girls (Silver): Lyanah Cariza M. Croox and Julienne Helena A. Naval
In Volleyball, both the Girls’ and Boys’ Teams emerged champions, with the Girls’ Team clinching their second straight title under Head Coach Bunso Ramirez and Assistant Coach Pearl Peñalba, while the Boys’ Team, coached by Jerome Mirano and Assistant Coach Rafael Acedilla, sealed the crown in two straight games.
With these victories, the Junior Patriots proved that teamwork, discipline, and determination continue to fuel their winning tradition, bringing pride and honor to the DLSU-D community.
