The Basic Education Division of DLSU-D invites the Lasallian community to “ELECTRIC! – Empowering Lasallians in Exploring Communication, Technology, and Responsible Information Culture,” a forum to be held at Ugnayang La Salle (ULS) on August 1, 2025 (Friday), from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Designed to empower participants in navigating the digital landscape, ELECTRIC! brings together leading voices in media and technology to explore the evolving intersections of media literacy, emerging technology trends, and responsible digital citizenship.
The event will feature the following lineup of guest speakers:
- Ms. Gretchen Ho – Renowned journalist, athlete, and advocate, who has consistently used her platform to promote truth, empowerment, and social good;
- Mr. Mon Isberto – A respected expert in digital responsibility and public affairs, with decades of experience in communications and tech ethics;
- Mr. Charles Lejano – Youth communicator and social media strategist, passionate about engaging young people in digital advocacy and informed participation.
In collaboration with key partner institutions MediaQuest and ThinkaMuna Pilipinas, ELECTRIC! seeks to energize Lasallians to become discerning information consumers, responsible communicators, and proactive digital leaders in today’s fast-paced information society.
This timely initiative underscores the university’s commitment to forming socially responsible and media-savvy students, aligned with its Lasallian core values and the demands of 21st-century learning.
